Tadeusz Nuckowski
Born in 1948 in Przemyśl. In the years 1969 - 1974 studied at Graphic Faculty of the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. Diploma in the wood carving atelier of professor Franciszek Bunsch and in the poster studio of professor Maciej Makarewicz. Practices graphic art (linocut, digital art), painting drawing, photography, book art, graphic design. Creates 3-D graphic objects. He’s member of XYLON (International Society of Wood Engravers). In years 1976 – 1996 he was the director of the National Gallery of Contemporary Art in Przemysl. Since 1995 he runs a wood engraving studio in the Institute of Artistic Education of the Pedagogic University in Rzeszow.
