Władysław Pluta

Polish poster artist. Born on the 28th of April 1949 in Jelen (Poland). He graduated from Cracow Academy of Fine Arts with a diploma under Ryszard Otreba. He also occupies himself with book design, visual identification, logos and graphics. Pluta's poster reflects a continuation of a succint poster konception - known from Polish School of Poster. What is characteristic in his work, is unusual, fresh and boisterous humour, energetic and joyful mood, clean composition made by using white, black and red colours, elimination of a background and surface smoothing.
