He studied at the Faculty of Graphic Arts Academy in Warsaw. Graduated in 1962, in prof. Joseph Mroszczak. In the years from 1963 to 1965 working as a designer in the classic theater in Warsaw and Foreign Trade Enterprise "Metronex". In the years 1966 to 1970 - artistic director of the Agency Art In 1970-71 designer in Packaging Design Agency in New York. From 1972, he worked as a researcher at the Academy. He is currently a full professor, runs a studio in the field of graphic design. In 1989-92 - Vice President ICOGRADA. Ambassador of ITC (International Centre for the logo).
