Adam Hoffmann

Adam Hoffmann

He was born on the 4th of May, 1918 in Cracow. Died in 2001. Polish artist, painter, professor at Cracow Academy of Fine Arts. He received his diploma in 1948. He took part in illegal activities of Tadeusz Kantor's experimental theatre. His work was exhibited mostly in Poland. He also had many individual exhibitions. In 2003, the National Museum in Cracow organised a retrospective exhibition, entitled "Adam Hoffman. Rysownik", to cherish his work.
