Andrzej Nowacki

Born in Rabka on 15 October 1953. His youth he spent in Cracow, where he participated, among other things,i n interior design projects and renovation works. In 1977 he left Poland. He devoted himself to Scandinavian studies at Gothenburg University and German philology and art history at the University in Innsbruck. In the 1980s, he met two Polish geometric artists: Kajetan Sosnowski and Henryk Stażewski; he would maintain contact with Stażewski for many years. In 1982, he moved to Dusseldorf, and in 1984 to West Berlin, where he has devoted himself to creative work.
