Eugeniusz Markowski

Lived in the years 1912- 2007. Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. During Second World War he escaped to Italy, where he had stayed for many years. He worked as a journalist, diplomat in Italy and Canada. From 1955 he came back to Poland and started painting, drawing, and graphic designing. Became academic teacher at his alma mater in Warsaw. Awarded for instance with Cyprian Kamil Norwid Artistic Critics Award.
