Stanislaw Zagorski
He was born in 1933 in Warsaw. Polish graphic artist and designer. He is known all around the world thanks to his posters. One of the representatives of Polish School of Poster. At present he lives and works in Warsaw. Zgorski graduated from Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. In the early sixties, he emigrated to the USA, where he was working for advertising agencies, designing posters and book covers. He is the author of cd-covers of the biggest popular music (Aretha Franklin, Roberta Flack, Velvet Underground, Cream, Cher) and jazz artists (Miles Davis, Roland Kirk, The Modern Jazz Quartet, Billy Cobham, Charles Lloyd, Michał Urbaniak).
