Witold Janowski

Witold Janowski was born in 1926 in Warsaw, died in 2006. Polish graphic artist, a professor of Fine Arts in Gdansk. Developer posters, dealing with graphic design graphic publishing, exhibiting and philatelic issue. He graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the Technical University of Warsaw in 1953. He also studied at the Poznan Academy of Fine Arts, where he graduated in 1971. In the years 1971-1990 he taught at the Gdansk Academy of Fine Arts, Graphic Design Workshop leading. From 1990 to 1994 he taught at Bilkent University in Ankara (Turkey).
