Piotr Szurek

Born in 1958. In 1987 he graduated from the State School of Fine Arts in Poznan. His works were presented at solo exhibitions in Paris (1990, 1991, 1993, 1006, 1998, 2002), Luxembourg (1992, 1997, 2002), Brussels (1994), Nancy (1994, 2003), Kharkov (2000) and Poznan (1989, 1995, 1999, 2000) and group exhibitions: International Print Biennial in Kraków (1988), International FIAC Biennial in Paris (1993, 1998), Polish Print Triennial in Katowice (1994, 1997, 2000), International Print Biennial in Užice (1997,1999, 2001), International Print Biennial in Ljubljana (1999), Art Paris (2000, 2001, 2002), International Print Triennial of the Baltic Countries in Kaliningrad (2002), among others. Winner of Sponsor's Award at the International Print Biennial in Kraków 1988, Statutory Award and Grand Prix at the Polish Print Triennial in Katowice 1994, Silver Point at the International Print Biennial in Užice in 1997, Grand Prix at the International Print Biennial in Užice in 1999, Special Award at the International Print Biennial in Kraków 2000, Statutory Award at the International Print Triennial of the Baltic Countries in Kaliningrad 2002.
